WEST LIBERTY - Michael W. Bow, 70, of Dublin and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Kobacker House. Michael was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 19, 1946. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1969 with a degree in Civil Engineering. Mike was the Bellefontaine City Engineer and worked many years for Humble Construction Company, before he and his wife started their own company, M&K Engineering Co. LLC. He served many years for the Logan Union Champaign Regional Planning Commission. He was an avid Ohio State, Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds fan. He enjoyed reading, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kathleen A. (Turner) Bow; children Lori (Kim) Hoyles, Amy (Greg) Smith, Kimberli (Michael) Durnell, William (Carie) Bow, Kailynn (Brian) Varrato, Kindra (Hayes) O'Rielley, Kristin (Ryan) DeMay and Derek Bow; 16 grandchildren Codie, Chelsey, Vivian, Justine, Mariam, Joshua, Aubree, Baylee, Sydnee, Caroline, Matthew, Jacob, Ashleigh, Isaac, Andrew and Jonah; one great-grandchild, Rowan. He also is survived by his sisters Barbara (John) Mochner, Susan (Bert) Shramko, Kathy (Ronnie) Peters Nancy (Rick ) Limbert, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Bow. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb 8 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 464 Madison Ave., Russells Point, Oh, with Fr. Shawn R. Landenwitch officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at JENNINGS FARLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 5591 U.S. Rt. 68 S., West Liberty, Ohio.
