STELZER, David G. Age 72, of Lebanon and formerly of Dayton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 30, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 9, 1945 to Eugene and Elizabeth (Maier) Stelzer, who preceded him in death. David is survived by his two daughters, Mindy and her husband, Drew Hilgeford and their children, Alex, Eric and Kate Hilgeford, Kim and her husband, Eric Brunamonti and their daughters, Elizabeth and Madison Brunamonti. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Bonnie Stelzer Blankenship along with many friends. David was a long-time member of St. Helen Catholic Church and proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a retired sales representative with Nations Rent and was an avid woodworker and fisherman who enjoyed spending time on his boat with family and friends. Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road with Father Satish Joseph as the Celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of David be made to Dayton Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Plaza, Dayton, Ohio 45404.
